101 pounds down. My original goal was 95. I didn’t think I’d make it, but kind of feeling like I’m not done yet. The easy part is over now though. It’s been 27 years since I was this low.

Have to be honest, I was pretty neutral about the Barbie movie, but the more they whine about it, the more I want to see it. (I was always going to watch it with the Mrs, but their tears are certainly a selling point.)

I just went through my yearly required ethics training. It made very clear that the behavior of SC Justices violated standards. Why do private companies hold people to higher standards? It’s almost like people who set their own rules will always look out for themselves.

Fragile assed toxic masculinity. I’d have punched a nun to have paternity leave. Those early moments with partner and baby are priceless. ESPECIALLY useful if they aren’t a first baby. For #1 I didn’t even have paid time off, for #2 I used vacation time but had very little.
