For my followers in other countries, this is a common experience at cafes, homes, and ground-level retail shops across the United States. We built all these buildings directly in the way of reckless/speeding drivers, and they’re not happy about it!!

@mateosfo It happens in a country of 330 million. But that really depends on how you define "common."
@mateosfo This exact thing happened to my barber. Between the storefront and the road was: a curb, grass, ~20 feet of parking lot, and ~10 feet of sidewalk. Car came from the far side of the road, across 2 incoming lanes, all the above, directly through their wall Driver was “ticketed”
@mateosfo Damn. Bollards saved those two people's lives. @MarkHumbert - We need bollards on any corner where vehicle speed limits are more than ~15 mph.
@mateosfo It’s not just the US. Happens here in New Zealand (we have a “ram raid” problem) and any other country were cars are the priority - so like, most countries.
