Incredibly sad news about Gary Lopaschuk. He was a giant in the field of cardiac metabolism, and I greatly enjoyed meeting him when he visited Pittsburgh a few years ago to give a lecture. He will be sadly missed by many.

It is 10 years to the day that the Scott lab opened its doors at the University of Pittsburgh. They haven’t asked me to leave yet, so I’ll guess I’ll stick around and see what happens in the next 10.
