Too often in my life, to protect my comfort zone, I have disguised my defensiveness and hardness of heart as theological discernment.
Language cannot contain truth. Rather we use language to enact truth.
Truth is not a property of language. Language is a function of truth. Truth is a property of persons; not of thoughts but of thinkers.
It is not that we live by the law but rather that we live in such a way that fulfils the law.
When my desire to be right outweighs my desire for truth then I become deaf to God.
