So much talk re: an Alternative Made-in-Stoney-Creek plan but they provide no details, no motions at council, no initiative - but we're supposed to take it seriously. They had an opportunity at council to describe their imaginary ideas but decided instead to shut down debate.

@mattjelly And they’ve had 4 months to work on their made-in-StoneyCreek-by-real-leaders solutions. It seems they were counting on Andrea not exercising her strong Mayor powers and now they’re scrambling (and lashing out).
@gcrawfordHamOnt Yeah they're more than willing to vote for apparently non-binding emergency declarations of a housing crisis but have fainting spells as soon as anyone starts working on the problem with any sense of urgency
@mattjelly @gcrawfordHamOnt Yep. It's all just a big game to take everyone's attention away from the $56M new developments & taxpayers have been & will continue to shell out for 2 NEW downtown Hamilton parking structures. Sickening!
@SaundersWard10 @gcrawfordHamOnt Do you think those are primarily for the benefit of people who live in downtown Hamilton?
@mattjelly @gcrawfordHamOnt I knew someone would say that. Of course I don't. But can you honestly say gifting 2 downtown parking lots & then turning around & building 2 new ones that are primarily funded by the saps in the 'burbs isn't duplicitous?
@SaundersWard10 @gcrawfordHamOnt Who are you directing this argument at specifically?
@mattjelly @gcrawfordHamOnt Council really. With a few people on the side that knew about the multi-million $'s for new parking lots, and kept it quiet during the recent Parking over People campaign.
