While speaking with the residents, it was evident how neglected the apartments were, everything from lacking basic necessities to safety hazards. These apartments are unlivable and overpriced - this is profiteering at its finest. We must do better to protect our most vulnerable.

These people are rock stars! 110 degrees outside, and this amazing team of humans served 132 meals, passed out an overwhelming amount of cold water, and even brought popsicles for people who were standing in line.
