Yesterday we made play dough as it tied into so much of our current learning. We are learning colours in science and art, measurement in math, and following a recipe as a functional living skill! 🎉 we had so much fun.

Grade 5’s know a lot about circuits including the different kinds of simple, basic, series and parallel. Today we did a scavenger hunt for conductors to test in the class and then talked about what we found.
Finding that even after graduating the journey is just beginning and the learning is never ending 📚🎓 Excited to continue working with the Grade 5’s at Dr. George Stanley School till summer ☀️🍎

My grade one students did leprechaun wanted photos... one of my students made me into a leprechaun 😂🍀 it must be because I’m Irish
Our artwork based on Métis Dot art and the seven sacred teachings was awesome. We also got to see Pow wow music and dancers while painting! 🎨
First day of my last practicum which is in grade 1 was a success and I survived 😜😊 so excited for this new journey

Enjoying helping out grade 6 through zoom. Soon my NHL 20 fantasy hockey pool project for decimal computation is starting! Exciting to use statistics and decimals in a real way. Yay!

Thank you Ms.McIvor for coming to visit and helping us make truffles!!! Today, for math, the grade 4’s followed a recipe to make chocolate truffles. Ask your child why we did this? What did this activity have to do with our math learning?
Students started a huge math problem with me, today they celebrated their amazing math work by making truffles! 🎊🎉
STEAM Gala was a success, it was so much fun to show off the students amazing work!
