A vehicle hit a car on the Memorial Bridge and went over the edge into the frozen Potomac River. Divers pulled one out of the river with life threatening injuries.

Update water rescue Anacostia River below 11th St Bridge SE. 3 rescue divers & 2 rescue swimmers from DC Fire & EMS entered the water, locating & removing 1 adult victim from the vehicle. All are out of the river for decontamination & rehab. #DCsBravest
