Saddened to hear the news of Jaune Quick-to-see Smith's passing. Paperdolls For a Post-Columbian World can be partly credited with turning me on to the study of art and aesthetics. Her artwork and curation was always brilliant.
Has anyone here had any success securing publishing-quality digital copies of artworks from @IAIASantaFe ? Having little success at the moment and hoping someone might be able to provide some advice (who is best to contact etc). Pls do DM or reply if you have thoughts/advice!
Would anyone be going to NARA in the next 2/3 months who would be willing to scan an image for me from the archives? Needed for article but my copy is of insufficient quality! I would be willing to pay a fee for the effort.

It used to cost an adult $2 to visit Alcatraz island because, in the early 1970s, there was 'no intention to charge an entrance fee'. Just transport costs were paid. It now costs $42.25. Either the boats are *very* expensive to run, or the NPS gave up on democratising access.
