Nuneaton Jobcentre hosted a fabulous Health and Wellbeing Event this month. 13 organisations offered a range of help and advice to our customers. 62 people were referred on to a programme and 117 people received advice or were signposted to appropriate support. Fantastic work 👏

Redditch Jobs Fair held in conjunction with Worcestershire Libraries at the Library was a huge success. Thirty two organisations were on hand to offer jobs, training and support. Opportunities were offered to 256 Jobcentre customers who attended the event. The room was buzzing!

Feedback from the exhibitors at the Job and Skills Event in Leamington was universally positive with 100% saying that they felt the event was worthwhile. An amazing 129 offers were made to customers. Support with their applications was also available- we wish them every success👏

Well done Bedworth Jobcentre for holding a fantastic Spring Job Fair. With 70 vacancies on offer from a range of employers, the feedback from customers was really positive with comments like 'It was good, I came in looking for construction/ hands on work and these were available'

208 jobseekers attended yesterdays jobs fair in Coventry Jobcentre and were interviewed by 10 employers from a range of recruiting sectors. We are pleased to report 97 conditional job offers were made!!!

Nuneaton's Care to Care event was held yesterday where 76 initial interviews were held over the morning with 21 job interviews booked for future dates at employer’s premises. Great feedback from employers included “Really good to have a targeted event about the Care sector”.

Delighted to Support the Nuneaton Jobs and Apprenticeship Fair hosted by Marcus Jones MP @Marcus4Nuneaton today. Over 50 organisations and employers attended to help citizens back into work.

Great to catch up with my senior team today and hear all about their plans to deliver a quality service and help more of our customers back into work supporting economic recovery.

The Youth Hub at the Hive in Worcester hosted a very successful National Apprenticeship Week Event. With 11 different organisations on hand and over 80 young people in attendance, it was great to see so many using the Hub and accessing the help and support that was available.👏😃

An amazing 78 job vacancies were available at the Leamington Spa Jobs Fair last week which was very well attended. Over 151 applications have been taken forward to the next stage. A range of help and support was on offer on the day from 11 different organisations. A fabulous day.

Ross Labels was the fabulous location for the first Ross-on-Wye Jobs Fair of 2023. With nearly 90 Jobseekers and over 20 Employers attending our customers were being offered work there and then or being booked in for interviews. Amazing feedback was received- 5 stars!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Over 100 vacancies were available at The Job & Skills Event held at the Indian Community Centre in Rugby. Nearly 200 people attended with 137 of those being offered a job interview within a range of industries including Care, Construction, Logistics, Retail and Hospitality. 👏👏

A fabulous Jobs Fair at Cofa Court Jobcentre last week. There were 11 employers and 5 providers on hand to see the 206 customers that attended. A massive 68 job offers were made and 7 of the employers there signed up for the Disability Confident Scheme 👏😃👏

A fantastic event was held yesterday in Redditch, supporting customers with barriers to employment. 304 customers interacted with a wide range of organisations, the majority engaging in provision/support or follow up actions. Feedback included ‘Please do more events like this!'

Coventry Jobs Fair was buzzing earlier today, what a fabulous atmosphere! Nearly 20 employers attended offering exciting vacancies and opportunities across multiple sectors. Whilst also championing DWP support for people with disabilities through DWP Disability Confident. 👏😃👏

There was a fantastic turnout at Bedworth Jobs Fair last Friday. 75% of all those that attended made a job application with one customer being offered employment there and then. There were lots of training opportunities with advice and support on hand. It was a fabulous event 👏
