@francisplourde Took the liberty to read your article thanks to google translate ici.radio-canada.ca/nouvelle/20645… Was there a mistake in the translation? Did you really not reach out to the organized #Jewish community for comment?!? Besides the fact that your article is not even close to a balanced view (3 interviewed for the motion & only 1 interviewed against), the fact you did not reach out to the #community is reprehensible at such a heightened time. I will give you the benefit of the doubt, you do not understand that Independent Jewish Voices does not actually represent the majority of the community. In actually they represent less than 1% or 2% of the Canadian Jewish community. Additionally they are notoriously known across #Canada as a rubber stamp for detractors of our community, including an ongoing partnership with the problematic #Samidoun organization. Seems like @CBCRadioCanada needs to review their "Journalistic Standards and Practices" -ensure that the statements have been diligently checked. In the case of comments made by a person expressing an honest opinion, we ensure that the opinion is grounded in facts bearing on a matter of public interest. How can you claim to have diligently checked the facts without the inclusion of the official Jewish community? Would love to hear from all my journalist friends on my take of this... #biasedmedia #CBC #bcpoli #irresponsible
For the record, the official representatives of the #Jewish community is @eshanken from @JewishVancouver and @nicoslobinsky from @CIJAinfo
@michaelasachs @francisplourde M @francisplourde ne mentionne pas un fait important
