Word of warning, avoid buying @googlenest IQ outdoor cameras - I've had four failed devices in less than a year (plugged into surge protectors and no other power issues) and now appeared to be stuck with them - nest refuse to refund. Touch wood the retailer isn't as unhelpful.

Love how simple and clearazure logging is. Activity logs. Metrics. Diagnostic logging. Diagnostic extensions. Log analytics agents. Log analytics workspaces (also called azure monitor logs i think) azure monitor, application insights. I get stuff changes quickly but wow!

Ordered a new bike from @EvansCycles which arrived damaged (damage believed to be from both courier and build from looks of it). Disappointing it happened, but sorted out pretty promptly by Kirstie in their contact centre - thanks to her for her help!

If you have a Cisco ASA or FTD with a public identity cert and you use client certificate authentication, check your config as by default it trusts more than you probably want. No CVE this time but at least a shout out! tools.cisco.com/security/cente…

If your boilers condensate pipe goes into a rainwater drain pipe like this, it shouldn't. As we found out yesterday in the heavy downpours when water started pouring out the bottom of the boiler. Fun chat to be had with the installer today. 😞
