Maybe we need some real freemasons in charge of govts-perhaps we would get some real productivity into economies instead of people betting on rigged markets as a way to spend their lives.

Stock markets and betting on currencies shouldn't be allowed at all (unless goods are exchanged). People should have productive lives and look back at what they have achieved with satisfaction. Maybe build something or grow something.

Our political systems are inherently corrupt by design. He or anyone he gives information to can benefit. These aren't markets, they are rigged games controlled by govts.

Politicians have to fill out pecuniary interest declarations and can hide most things under blind trusts. What if they fail to declare or give benefits to their friends and family members- how can those forms of corruption be avoided in our political system? I fail to see how.

Corporativism (fascism,) as Mussolini said, is the merger of state and corporate power. He didn't mean seizing of state power by business. He meant subordination of entire economic sectors of society under direction of the state rather than allowing them to operate independently.

ESG is a croc of shit for sure but mostly because, when it uses super/pension funds especially, to chase first world sound good things instead of returns for the owners of that capital, it is essentially misappropriation.

Our govt has deliberately allowed cost of living to go thru the roof, the call for wages growth was not needed in a bygone era when the govt controlled money creation/banking and other major costs of living.

Imagine if referendums were used to make decisions, the smokescreen of left/right politics would be obliterated. News as we know it would be reshaped. We wouldn't know who our political representatives are, as there would be no need for them.

Perhaps the policy makers and economists who engineered this policy of stakeholder capitalism should visit a mine and see what the morale and attitude is like in these places. Have had many people say they can stand it and left these jobs.

Plus their own tax and legal system that operate on a global level. Their existence indicates that govts have rewritten the rules to facilitate them. Try getting limited liability for individuals or small businesses?

@Hoosiers1986 Yep- to the extent Dems will tolerate capitalism (which isnt much) they want either controlling govt interest, or tightly regulated mega-corps that happily collude with mega-gov't. Small business is too difficult to regulate, monitor, control, tax.
