If you want an example of why clinging to old stars is bad for the business watch the Supernatural episode Beyond the Mat. The Miz plays a rookie getting bullied by the old guys. Everyone treats him like the bad one but, the veterans made a deal with a demon to keep wrestling.

It's very sad that you can watch a live event and realize that crowd noise still gets piped in. I get that Nikki is supposed to be the good guy but, no one is buying it and that live crowd wasn't feeling her at all.

Let me tell you about how bad Man of Steel was. It needed the name of Superman to work. Without that it would be a Whitewashed Hancock. I saw tons of reviews trashing MOS when it came out. It was the first time fans were appalled by Supermans actions on the big screen.

The Snyder cult is losing it. The new Superman made back more than double its budget and beat Man of Steel domestically but, because it wasn't Worldwide they're calling it a flop. It doesn't need to be worldwide. It just needs to make back what was spent. Which it did.
