Ashmont shuttle from JFK is showing Star Wars, which I don’t dislike, but it seems like a lost opportunity for @MBTA to communicate @MBTA why the #AshmontMattapanSurge is happening, when it will be over, and what service will be afterwards. @transitmatters @StreetsBoston

Slick looking shuttle bus down from JFK to Fields Corner while the Ashmont/Mattapan Surge is on. Comfy but lots of traffic on Dot Ave (no surprise) so a slow ride. I’ll def be taking the #fastFreeFairmount train back to South Station at 2:08

Shuttle buses leaving Ashmont for trip to JFK..map app tells me ~45min total travel time to South Station. 7-min bike ride to Talbot will get you there in 16min, no transfers. #tryBiking

I have done the 16-min trip from South Station to/from Talbot a dozen times in the last week and it’s been #onTimeEveryTime. Just 7-min bike ride from Ashmont or 9-min from Fields Corner, the #fastFreeFairmount is a game-changer while #RedLine is closed bit.ly/try-biking

Psyched to see the new ⁦@RideBluebikes⁩ station at Lewis Mall. Will support bicycle access to the free ⁦@MBTA⁩ ferry during the #SumnerTunnel shutdown, especially via the East Boston Greenway. It was full when I took a bike 20min ago! Great usage so far..
