Our pineapple plant just had its third baby. Most plants only ever have one per lifetime! Each one has been smaller and this one has had a head start eating it by a squirrel so it will be shared with our local birds, squirrels, and ducks. I hope it's ok they eat it.

I wrote an author I liked, praising her work, told her I had purchased 13 of her bks. I told her the last one had a lg # of typos though. Response: "yeah, what can you do" & she blamed editor/s, publisher. Very unprofessional response. My parents were writers, mom-an editor too

What wd you do? I ordered DVD from a co. $10. Lovely DVD on their product. I emailed TYVM, love DVD, and "I thought you'd want to know there are several typos." I write GOOD letters, no abbrs! Response: "You think you're special don't you?" WTF?

When I was little we lived in Manhattan, KS. When I was 5 I said, "Mommy, at night I hear the lions roar." Always an imaginative child, she smiled and tucked me in. Night after night I said that. Then one night she heard it too...the lions at the Sunset Zoo, when the wind blew...

Vocal fry is abysmal! If you don't know what it is Google it please. It has become ubiquitous in mostly young American females speaking voices. It's unprofessional, immature, grating, horrific and should be outlawed. I know, I over-react but I really do despise it!
