Funny to see a NIMBY standing in front of $3.3 million mansion fretting about how two-bedroom unparked condos won't be affordable enough. Does anyone buy this bullshit?

@mnolangray It never ceases to amaze me how much control some people want to exercise over the property of their neighbors. Isn’t this supposed to be a country that tends to value individualism over collectivism?
@mnolangray So close to getting it and yet so far away.
@mnolangray 1) It’s 75% about the parking. That’s the boomer mindset. She doesn’t want people taking up “her” spots on the street. 2) she doesn’t want poors living nearby. The apartments are cheaper than the houses and therefore people who rent the apartments are of questionable provenance.
@mnolangray Is the problem that the less-coiffed condo dwellers might park on their public street?
@mnolangray A: the people who bought their own $3 home for $50k (this is a guess) back in the day.
@mnolangray The kicker, she doesn't even live in the city of San Diego (she is La Mesa); SB10 is a city ordinance not within the purview of the County seat she is running for.
@mnolangray They also own $3.3 million dollar mansions
@mnolangray Let’s not rush to blame the working class. It’s not their fault they could not afford a $3.7 million home with more garage space.
@mnolangray She’s way too old to be doing that smiling with your tongue between your teeth thing anyway
@mnolangray Bulldoze single family homes 🙄 They sound as stupid as the people who think government is coming for their guns.
@mnolangray Only people who can afford to.
