While this is wonderful -- I mean, truly beautiful in every way we need to ask why the antigenocide protests only get mainstream coverage when that coverage can center Jewish students and protesters. This absolutely should be covered. It is a part of the protest. But these protests are widely multicultural in every way, and we are seeing reporters focus on only one group. why didn't we ALSO see this kind of coverage for Eid? More importantly. What needs to happen to put Palestinians, finally, at the VERY CENTER of our discussions and coverage in the West?

The point of these protests is to stop the genocide and divest from Israel and the global war machine. The people being genocided are Palestinians. Please make sure to center what is happening to Palestinians, specifically. It is wonderful that everyone is coming together, that there is so much respect and sharing across cultures and religions. But they are coming together FOR PALESTINE. Please center Palestine and Gaza.
@moorehn I take your point, but there is a special significance to Jewish people saying "not in our name" which in this particular context cannot be overlooked, especially with all the straw man accusations of antisemitism going around.
@moorehn Yes yes yes x1000
