I take solace from the following. All 3 of Stockport, Wrexham & Stags have suffered the indignity of non-league, but had ambitious & patient owners willing to build the club sustainably. That's what we have at #Notts Next season, eh... ■□■□
@mrcuthers Assuming they get recruitment right. We have a very small squad, and too many of them don't cut the mustard for a promotion challenging team
@mrcuthers I don't want to take your solace from you, but their owners have not been patient. They have thrown money at building big, quality squads, and it has paid off for all three of them.
@mrcuthers Absolutely. Also the problem is blatantly obvious to everyone so shouldn't be too difficult to improve. Three centre backs another energetic midfielder to support Robertson and Palmer, plus a keeper
@mrcuthers Very very concerned for next year. We give everyone a dozen chances. Only games we are winning are where our keeper has the game of his life.
@mrcuthers To be fair Stockport we’re just a kick away from going up at Wembley last season the most heartbreaking way to lose but they regrouped in the summer and have gone again
@mrcuthers Not one of those clubs are sustainable though... People forget that Stockport bought their way out the national league and were worse than Wrexham initially for buying players out of their normal range
