I used to look for shots that made this room appear full. Lately, I value scenes like this. If you look closely, you’ll see a mother on her hands & knees praying for our students before service. I’m thankful for praying parents!

Six months ago, my buddy Josh suffered a gunshot wound to the head— doctors didn’t think he’d survive. This weekend, he was back at church for the first time, worshiping with his family at @GatewayPeople’s candlelight services 🙌💪

I’ve been to funerals of students who have committed suicide. I’ve been at the hospital bedside of students who have attempted suicide; I’ve sat next to them while their hands were strapped to the bed for their own protection...
