I had my first virtual Coffee Catch Up via @evaluationuk at lunch today. Just the three of us and it was a great experience. Both sociologists, both remarkable and all of us on different journeys but found overlap and we are meeting again in a month. Thank you UKES. #evaluation

Two days working from home, so I could focus on my first @UKevaluation Evaluation course. Wonderfully presented by Sally & Georgie, who are extremely knowledgeable & experienced evaluators! Thank you for a great course. Excited to put it into practice.

My last L3 safeguarding training at Highfields was today with the wonderful Green Watch. All the watches & teams have been amazing, I have enjoyed every session. End of an era & I will miss being Safeguarding lead @nottsfire but I am excited about the next chapter starting soon!

It’s the small things that make you feel 🥰. Last week I did a safeguarding training session for a watch and the Project Management team I am joining in September all took part. They didn’t have to, but they did! #oneteam

Busy week Safeguarding training with @nottsfire crews at Highfields, Arnold and Carlton. Every session I do the crews add something amazing into the mix and sometimes the simplest ideas make a huge difference! Always amazing me!

Finished a busy work week off with an escape room at Brownies. The girls worked out the authors and book titles in some tricky puzzles to find the prize! Unfortunately, Snowy Owl (me) hid it under a chair which had been put away. So even I didn’t know where it was! Teamwork won!

18 years ago today, I started a temp job @nottsfire. A few teams, many memories & some amazing friends made along the way, I am now looking forward to another new chapter here in September! New skills, a new team and new adventures await! #notjustfires

Started the day by giving Fire Safety tips on BBC Nottm @veritycowley and the rest was spent spotting hazards in our @nottsfire Risky Rooms at Sconce Park! Hopefully more people are testing their smoke alarms and reducing their risk of having a fire. #creatingsafercommunities

The @nottsfire District Prevention team and fire crews are at the 999 Safety event at Sconce Park in Newark for children to recognise and learn how to prevent the risks that cause fire.

I’ve really enjoyed my Safeguarding training sessions this week. Blue Watch @EdwinstoweFire on Tuesday & today’s to @CFO_Nottsfire, @MickSharman2, @Leila1Berry alongside other members of our @nottsfire SLT. This brings the number of L3 trained staff in NFRS to over 200! #proud
