Today was so much fun in our enrichment group, Animals Helping People! The Dog Alliance came out and spoke to the kiddos about Lexi the therapy dog! She goes to Veteran's Homes and hospitals to cheer people up! #OTE1you #OTEexploreU @OTESchool

We loved getting to hear from LeighAnn from The Dog Zone Austin! We learned so much about all of the training that goes into service and therapy dogs!

We did not have a guest speaker today, but still had so much fun! We read some books about guide dogs, watched a short clip about equine therapy, and then made posters on what we've learned so far! #animalshelpingpeople @OTESchool #OTE1You #OTEexploreU

This morning we had a guest speaker! Cece and her service dog Ruca! We learned so much about the etiquette of service dogs as well as what dogs CAN do for people- including picking up something you've dropped, tugging the laundry basket... etc!!! Super fun. #ote1you #OTEExploreU
