@msdev Things are really getting exciting, let's see what happens next.
@msdev WSL, VS Code, and Copilot. It looks like Microsoft is going all-in on open source!
@msdev Open sourcing WSL invites more community innovation
@msdev That really made my day, great news 🎉 Kudos to Microsoft 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
@msdev turns out way to make windows not suck is to turn it into linux distro but with good support
@msdev Open-sourcing WSL is a huge win for the developer community. Glad Microsoft finally thought of this. It shows real trust in open collaboration and gives devs the power to shape the tools they rely on daily.
@msdev Please make WSA open source too. It already is getting abandoned by Microsoft unlike WSL.
@msdev This is good but when are you going to abandon win11 and go back to win10?
@msdev I had a dream, I changed my Mac for a Windows, because Microsoft had migrated Windows to Linux.
@msdev That's nice. But the thing I'm most interested in, i.e. WSL1 and pico processes, sadly wasn't open sourced :'-(
@msdev can someone please fork it to use VMware and not Hyper-V
@msdev useless attempt at winning back users. you've already lost their trust
@msdev I really like the idea of not being so closed. 🎉
@msdev guys you kept the history since 2016 ... plz don't open source my old code 😭
