Test your backups. Do a complete restore. Verify data. Your backup can execute perfectly but fail because of tar/compression failures.

Why upset that Apple removed MySQL from Lion Server? Who uses Lion as a server? Also, I haven't used a distros MySQL since I was a wee lad.
