I made flan for the first time ever tonight for partner’s birthday. Fingers crossed once it’s cooled it’s good!

My favorite patient has had a huge decline. Lost a ton of weight, is unsteady on his feet, can’t talk without shortness of air. My heart is going to absolutely shatter when he passes. 🥺 we cried together today and that was the first time he’s gotten emotional 💔

Apparently my extreme fatigue, lack of sleep, mood changes, pain, etc that’s all been blamed on my weight is actually likely because my Vitamin D is super low. PCP says even losing weight I would likely still have these symptoms. Starting supplements and hoping to feel better 💪🏻

Last night I dreamt of a patient that passed away last year. We sat on his couch and laughed and he told me one of his little stories and we ate a root beer float, which he usually made me make for him. It was lovely and I missed that man so much.

Miss Mess has been in theatre camp since Monday, with her play tomorrow. She got the role she wanted, is memorized and ready to go. I can’t wait to see these kids and their hard work!
