روزی دو زن نزد امام آمدند و هر دو ادعا کردند که مادر یک بچه هستند. امام فرمودند: بچه را وسط بگذارید و هر زن از یک طرف دست کودک را بکشد. آن دو زن آنقدر کودک را کشیدند که از وسط نصف شد. امام کمی جا خوردند و فرمودند: قاعدتا نباید اینجوری می شد !!!

روزی یکی از اصحاب بر امام نقی وارد شد و پرسید: ای امام، جماع با کانگورو چه حکمی دارد؟ امام به نقطه ای خیره شد و به فکر فرو رفت. پس از مدتی قطره اشکی از چشم مبارکشان جاری شد و فرمودند: فقط هر کاری میکنی بهش وابسته نشو.. بهش وابسته نشو
