remember that recovery is so much more than just eating! challenge routines, rituals, habits. eat at a different time, don't wear your fitness watch, don't use certain utensils, etc. breaking these 'little' habits are so much bigger than you think :')

anyone else in recov that has no idea how they spent months and years in a constant state of starvation if i don’t eat for 6 plus hours now i start feeling it 😭 ig ur body is sensitive in recovery but still like ??? calm down

september is suicide prevention month, and this is your reminder that you're not alone. during my ed, suicidal thoughts were something i dealt with daily; i felt trapped, alone, and like there was no other way out of this cycle. there is a way out and it's recovery. you got this.

Yes recovery may feel like hell but a few years of hell compared to a lifetime of hell with an ed is much better.

you're driving on a road trip and you realize 'oh no, i put in the wrong destination!' so.. the most logical thing to do is to turn around and reroute, right? you wouldn't keep driving, you wouldn't keep going knowing that where you're going is wrong. this isn't about driving.
