The unique challenge behind managed LLM based autocomplete products, e.g. Copilot, is how bigger of a battle it is to find the right balance between latency and quality. Any minor latency penalty (~5ms) has an observable impact on the acceptance rate.

@chrismunns @IamStan @marekq I've seen a lot of success in using a larger prompt in haiku (with many examples) to get the right response - in some cases it's more cost effective. It's faster as well.

🌶️ We should use JSON5 in more places. Comments would be extremely useful in JSON-ish things, like `package.json` files. … and it still puzzles me that the ecosystem hasn’t moved in that direction.
Personally think Bun should just go all in and support package.js what could go wrong
@CherryJimbo How much you wanna bet npm makes this same change soon. It's wild that you're complaining about a JS tooling change. JS tooling is one of the least ossified and most in flex of all the languages.
