Is this the most up to date statement suggesting when Public Contributors should be asked to undergo a DBS check? Since the Police Act 1997 makes it illegal to ask for an unnecessary check, it's important to get it right. See myresearchproject.org.uk/help/help%20do…

Sent to my MP: Please stop the Government sending asylum seekers to Rwanda. It is a shameful abuse of power, breaches international law on refugees, punishes the victims of crime rather than the perpetrators, deprives our country of talent and won't work.

Some authors have suggested that gaining support from the Research Ethics Committee is a one-time event. How often do researchers go back to the REC with a proposed amendment during a study? Has anyone counted?

7/7. Payments for research participation overlap with payments for some other activities. Applying the payment rates designed for Public Contributors to Research Participants could treat people well and increase the cost one hundredfold.
