On top of many changes to the detriment of #PwD, the proposed federal government overhaul of the #NDIS will concentrate more power in the hands of the minister through rule changes and dilute the influence of state and territory governments. This is NOT the NDIS we fought for.
Breaking news - the Joint Standing Committee on the NDIS will conduct an inquiry into use of compulsory independent assessments in the #NDIS. Inquiry will run until March 31. Absolutely critical that everyone gets involved and has their say. More here - aph.gov.au/Parliamentary_…

Also totally agree@tanya_plibersek. All children though their whole school experience deserve the same education. Children with disabilities therefore should learn beside their peers in their local schools. Research supports the efficacy of this!
