Cheshire West and Chester Council asked us to reduce this Lime tree on Westminster Avenue in Chester, to a 4 metre monolith, because of basal decay. We’ll also be planting another lime tree near it in the autumn. This was part of a larger job which was to crown lift and remove the epicormic growth on all the street trees on Westminster Avenue and Cavendish Road. The lads did that work while I was away on holiday and seeing it all today they did a magnificent job and all the residents were thrilled. 😀
