This is horrific. 5 people have been charged in the torture and the murder of a transgender man. Sam Nordquist, 24, was reported missing in February, and subjected to repeated acts of violence and torture, leading to his death.

why can't we, as grown-ass people, talk to our parents and identify to them the ways their lives impacted ours? we were RIGHT there.. we internalized so much. watching, listening, experiencing. they making it hard to break these curses. gahdamn

why can't our parents take accountability for the way they raised us? or didn't raise us for that matter. why is it so hard for them to draw the parallels when some of us are literally walking in their exact footsteps? they just love to deny the bad shit. love credit for the good
