I’m about 8 months into working as a full fledged CRNA🥹 My confidence is getting better and better, and as I do more cases on my own I can say I am feeling great!

I loved my pediatric rotation! Playing games with them before they go to sleep can help to distract them from a strange, and scary environment. A CRNA I worked with and learned from would always draw cute pictures on her balloons for the kids.

As wiz khalifa once said… work hard play hard 🙌🏻 In August we went to Japan, and next up is Puerto Rico! I’ve been picking up extra which means long work weeks, but then I can really enjoy our vacations and time off.

So you’re deciding on shoes to wear in the OR…. pick something washable! Someone recently told me you can put calzuro ‘s in your dishwasher…. I think mine have seen too many OR floors & bodily fluids to feel comfortable doing that but hey at least I know they’re durable! 😆

Drug set up for a general anesthetic. Once during school a CRNA told me she always keeps sux & glyco out for emergencies. I’ve implemented that in my practice, especially since I frequently go to different places and the drugs aren’t always in the same locations within the Pyxis.
