In fairness, the civil service while always in need of some joining up is pretty good. The twattish Ministers however @Alan_Law_ with their inability to understand costs accrued here and benefits accrued there is still a net positive are the real ‘hard to reach’ group still…

@AlanMembury Impossible to take @WildlifeTrusts seriously when they refuse to ban off-lead dogs on their reserves. Membership/income streams trumps the welfare of wildlife it seems.

As fewer than 0.5% of UK cattle are slaughtered ahead of farm schedule annually due to bTB and compensation is paid by the tax (whose bill for this goes up and up and up every year despite all this culling…) it remains a pleasingly uncommon disease.

@outdoorspodcast Do you know of any data to support that? Might be true but need stats. I’m an angler; both parents too; all naturalists. My mother used to work for the BFSS (predecessor to CA), but hates fox hunting!
