How to Build a YouTube Empire (without going crazy):
Review your responsibilities in three categories:
1) Required ongoing responsibilities (helping team members)
2) Ongoing responsibilities (coaching and monitoring team progress)
3) Optional responsibilities (I'll explain...)
“The audience is the algorithm” - is that true? Kind of.
The algorithm represents the audience’s natural behaviour, yes. Yet, the algorithm is also owned by a profit making company.
Which changes everything...
Nobody is talking about the BIGGEST drawback of a faceless YouTube channel.
They don't get HALF the number of sponsors personality/face channels do.
Yet sponsors are what make many creators rich. Not Adsense.
Sponsors prefer channels with faces and personalities since they’re…
YouTube Empire Tiers:
Level 1: Do the work
Level 2: Build the team
Level 3: Hire a Recruiter to build your team
Level 4: Build an Executive team that builds teams
Level 5: Build a channel startup incubator
The wealthiest of the Creator Economy will scale through these levels.
YouTube Empire Building Lesson after losing $90k on failed channels:
Your niche is
a) your topic;
b) your format/video length.
Choose a format that leads to the same or higher watch time than your direct competitors.
If you don't, good luck!
YouTube 101:
To understand the algorithm, understand YouTube. It's a COMPANY.
A lot of us act stupid - we forget that.
Here's why understanding that is critical for succeeding on YouTube.
I'll explain with a Walmart analogy:
Using the limited semi-conductor metals on this planet to make crappy tech is harm.
This guy Daniel’s “Do no harm” advice should start with the product.
@MKBHD is helping guide sustainable use of tech resources. As we should all do as consumers...
Creator power used well.

YouTube Empire Building Rule:
Expecting to go viral making videos 1-5 minutes of length is... probably dumb. Like -- seriously.
Why? You will struggle to give YouTube the watch time it wants. And watch time is the business of YouTube (and social media for that matter).…
“Who do you admire in the world?”
I’ve found this interview question valuable, why?
We often admire people we wish to become.
Ask the applicant for 3 people, then ask why they admire each.
Fiind the patterns in the "why" & you'll see attributes of the applicant's future.

Turned 21,
Wanna thank everyone here for being apart of such a great community.
Especially on discord, close to 10,000 people helping each other build their channels every day
I look forward to seeing all of you be the next generation of YouTube legends.
Cheers 🙏❤️
@dvassallo@MelindaBChu1 hmm. sounds like you just came across his channel, and are making projections based on what you'd do if you realized you had the power to kill a company with a review, instead of realizing this is pretty much how mkbhd's reviews go with terrible but overhyped gadgets.
@oligilpin Highest I've seen is over $200,000. One video that took about 3 hours to edit, another hour on a unique thumbnail. Can't imagine there are many more opportunities in the entire world than that when it comes to extra revenue
@oligilpin Yes, i also take care of this point, in between of my videos i seamlessly that challenge audience wrong beliefs about science , but this should be slow process , initially play just by flirting with boundary, later expand it.
I was just looking over all the Beast Philanthropy videos and the impact so far is insane! We’ve also given 20,000,000 meals to people in need (avg around 2M meals a month now🥰)
I want to give praise to my partner Darren, he’s the maniac that doesn’t sleep, most selfless person…
Even though the videos were flopping, I was learning a lot about YouTube.
I knew that by improving in every single video, I would have a more attractive portfolio to join a team.
If I ran out of money, I would do deliveries again and keep trying.
The weather was better there
Since December, I have been grinding here in Peru.
Working and Improving my yt skills to one day be at the top of this industry.
There is still a long way to go but I can safely say that I've accomplished my childhood dream of making a living out of YouTube.
Never give up 💪
When I moved from Peru to Europe, I promised myself that I wouldn't go back empty-handed
Now that I had something, I finally felt like I could go back home.
So I bought my plane ticket for €600 and was left with €200 to my name in November of 2023.
Fortunately, I started receiving encouraging DMs from some youtube entrepreneurs here on X.
I didn't have a great portfolio but, instead, a strong conviction and a story to tell.
@oligilpin interviewed me and gave me an opportunity in his business
I'm extremely grateful.
