My closest friends have made millions off of Instagram pages they started in high school. And everyone follows at least one creator who launched a CPG brand (Prime, Chamberlain Coffee, etc.) Recently I've been seeing a rise in these 1M+ follower media publications/brands (@Muslim, @Rap, etc.), and with AI I'm sure we're going to see even more It feels like the next logical step - especially now that brands are realizing that it's easier to reach younger audiences through microcelebrities than through giant media publications But a surprising amount of creators/founders still don't know how to use AI well enough to where it becomes useful to them This is why companies like @leap_api will win
@omarwasm @thedockpod My fear with creators creating their own platforms like this would be SEO and generally getting an audience outside the root platform. Even when you google something, you may often append "reddit" at the end so you can find actual knowledge instead of SEO-optimized trash.
