Trying to soothe those thoughts that came out of trauma with love and kindness doesn't do any good. Going hard on em, repeatedly labelling those thoughts with a harsh ridiculous tone is the way to cope with those thoughts.

When someone is in pain and having a breakdown, you just become numb and stand watching not knowing how to handle it because no one handled u when u were like that so you never learned! or maybe u don't actually know how to have a breakdown bc u never learned to express urself!
