...about the "angle" rather than on a well wish of healing, which is truly terrible. His lying alienates me from my compassionate self. This could have been avoided. I truly shouldn't be in this situation. I grieve transparency and some semblance of trust. My normal intuitions...

I've had very mixed feelings about the President and COVID-19. After taking a step back from my feelings, I realize his continual lying makes it difficult to understand how to navigate this announcement. The precident of continuous lying casts doubt and makes me ask questions...

Since the first day of classes at Kansas State, the county has added 800 new cases of COVID-19. Of the 121 new cases added on Tuesday, nearly 80 percent are 18 to 24-years-old. There are currently four people hospitalized at Ascension Via Christi. One patient is on a ventilator.

I've been reflecting on the language of "hard conversations" as they relate to race. I'm mindful that the "difficulty" is often from the perspective of the white audience who haven't been aware or willfully ignorant of racial discrimination...

Watch for those in power to absorb the critique, parrot it back, and claim the problem’s solved—for aesthetic, performative, and gestural changes. Have the demands been met? Do their actions move us closer to the demands or simply inoculate, distract, or sidetrack the movement?
