What you see below is a rule based map generation. Every character is a simple(more complex in the future) finite state machine that base its states and decisions on many important variables like fear, hunger, and even lack of options. #gamedev #indiedev #GodotEngine #aseprite

Poll, code generation: Yes/No? (a Y for me!) Some ppl think it makes things less maintainable or harder to understand. I suspect some of those ppl have bad memories of IDE based code generators, or never did it before. Positive example: generating code from a state machine spec
