I don't agree with the Govt's approach to the Equal Pay Act amendments. I also don't agree with this hypocrisy: ✅ Journalist calls female MP the C-word: 'applause' ❌ MP quotes this abuse in Parliament: 'outrage' Misogyny is fine it seems - as long as it votes the right way.

@cutaway_cafe The increase in tribalism & partisan binary thinking seems proportionate to a decline in critical thinking. Seems more & more people are outsourcing their thinking to their tribes narratives & unable to acknowledge any fault in their tribe, while only finding fault in others 😕

Dear NZ, If you talk about our health system, & don’t talk about diet, exercise, sleep, purpose, & social connection - you’re not talking about the health system. Hospitals, doctors, nurses etc are the metaphorical ambulance at the bottom of the cliff. Look at the bigger picture.

NZ Local councils have an incentive (whether acknowledged or not) to increase rateable property values to justify rates hikes. Yet, there’s little discussion about how this affects house prices, the CoL, or whether it’s linked to any noticeable improvement in council services 🤔

We’ll never improve racism by championing it. We’ll never improve division by promoting it. We’ll never improve unity by fighting it.
