A big milestone when you run a community is when members transition from saying “you/them” when referring to the community to saying “we/us”. The change in language means that they see themselves as part of the community now.

@kaseyklimes I’ve met hundreds of writers in nyc from hosting the @otwc_nyc sessions every week! It’s become an easy way for me to see my writing friends often. It’s also a magnet for attracting writers so I make new writing friends pretty often!
