It is clear that the RBI's new rule mandating big business loan defaulters to go into bankruptcy proceedings was an important reason for Urjit Patel to be eased out. No wonder the first request RBI Guv gets from govt owned banks is to dilute Feb 12 rule.Big relief for cronies.

SC takes the correct call in dismissing the Rafale PIL. It should also introspect if it was wise & constitutionally correct to take up the case, and even summon serving officers. Ongoing executive processes, esp Defence deals, are no business of the courts.
