Candide, Bernstein @theaterRGNSBRG Although composed concurrently with ‘West Side Story’, Bernstein pays more homage to European classic music here. I have never seen such a staging before: live drawing on the screen. 😍 ‘The dawn will find me Alone in some strange land.’

A trip to Schloss Solitude surrounded by trees in full autumn vibes 🍂 The palace was designed by a French architect for Charles Eugene von Württemberg. The rooms inside can only be seen with a guided tour, and pictures are not allowed.

Some colours from the ‘Unblemished Colours’ exhibition @MuseeGuimet A range of beautiful hues of Chinese ceramics 🥰. For each colour, I learnt its cultural significance, but also how it was made (hello, iron oxide). Last days of the exhibition; I highly recommend!

The tallest church in the world: Ulm Minster (Ulmer Münster in German). It is indeed taller than Cologne Cathedral (161m vs 157m), which is the second tallest in Europe and already seems very impressive to me. Construction work started in 1377 and finished in 1890.
