Press Release of Mundigak Historical Foundation on the Restoration of a Historic Mosque in Ghazni Afghanistan: The team and leadership of the Mandigak Historical Foundation announce the restoration of the historic Babaji Mosque in Ghazni city, completed yesterday by the Aga Khan Cultural Foundation. The mosque was originally built during the time of the third Caliph, Uthman (RA), as a two-story structure. During the restoration, its historic style and artistic architecture were fully preserved. The total cost of the project was USD 150,000, funded by the foundation, and the restoration work was completed in 14 months.
