But what I can’t accept is how someone who is merely baking ravioli can be deemed a worthy winner, with all the plaudits thereof, feted at Parliament, and presented with a very nice prize of £5,000! And with no apparent tiling interest per se. It is ridiculous. 9/10

I got an ‘honourable mention’ in the contest (along with 22 others). I especially chose my entries to be imaginative and innovative. My dogbone composition has plenty of merits. It has not one but two dogs (of which no one else has had the imagination to devise). 4/10

Here's a different decoration of the #hurtle #aperiodic #monotile that also produces a tree. It is the dual of the drainage-inspired curve. I had to add some straight segments around the border to keep it attached. It contains no loops or detached branches.

Someone should seriously make a jigsaw puzzle with a picture. It’ll pose unique challenges compared to normal jigsaw puzzles.
