A quick update on our efforts. We've donated 6,700+ face shields, 1500+ face masks and many other items, a total of 9,414! We continue to produce and donate around the clock thanks to our volunteers and generous support from the community. Great work team! pdxh.org

DIY face mask tip: If you are sewing cloth masks but have no elastic ties, some knit fabrics and even t-shirt material can be made into stretchy straps! Cut into 1" wide strips and pull. This causes the edges to curl under creating flexible cording.

One of the 300 Budmen shields we're donating to @getusppe Chicago is cyberpunk! This is what happens when you hot swap filament mid print instead of letting the 3D printer run out of filament and fail. Quick thinking by one of our many volunteers 3D printing remotely. 😎

Our mission continues. Yesterday we donated medical accessories to emergency operations staff in Portland, shields and masks to McMinnville's first responders, and prepared 1300 face shields for our neighbors up north in Seattle. Great work team! pdxh.org

Our new friends at @Blick_Art generously donated all their viable clear plastic sheeting, which served as the necessary raw materials to quickly produce and donate several hundred face shields yesterday! 💖Thank you so much #blickportland!💖
