CC325. Alone in the office. Mediastinal EBUS-TBNA with suspected sarcoidosis. Granulomas⬇️. Everything is ok. Time has taught me that in these cases it is useful to see if there is an oncologic history, whatever it is, retrieve the slides and check them. And that is what I did.
Part 2. Pathology keeps shaking me. This patient underwent surgery for a thymoma 3 YEARS AGO. At that time she showed no mediastinal adenopathies. Here are the 2021 histologic slides. What makes this thymoma so peculiar and this clinical case so interesting? @kriyer68 @DrBMcGinn
