Just over a year ago I attended an NFU F4S training day. Since then I have had the privilege to be invited into 7 schools to talk to over 600 students aged 2 upwards about farming and food. The engagement and enthusiasm from the young people is infectious! The future is bright!

One field had a multi-species winter cover crop, the other was an unplanned overwintered stubble. Thankfully, based on the number of gulls and rooks following the cultivator soil livestock populations have not been completely wiped out by the wet winter. #SoilHealth
Great to have the Somerset @niabgroup visit the Taunton trial site here today, we even dodged the rain to look at the plots in the bracing wind. One variety even has the flag leaf emerging!
