Chimney repair co mounted the damper handle on the right side. But the wire stretches across the firebox to get to the flue. I asked if they could move it to the other side. Realized I literally asked for a left-handed smoke shifter.

It's frustrating how hostile @amazon is to providing support that doesn't slot into "where's my stuff" or "I want my money back." Especially to customers who just want to send a message and not get dumped into chat.
