A rare bit of sharing of personal information from me today to congratulate my brilliant daughter, Anaïs Lalonde-Picard, who, after for years of medical studies at @USherbrooke, has matched to @uMcGill as a resident in internal medicine. 👩⚕️@cusm_muhc #MedEd #CaRMSMatch
@picardonhealth @USherbrooke @uMcGill @cusm_muhc Congrats for you daughter! I love to see women in excel! and congrats to you and her mother, as you both created an environment for her to be confident to pursue a career that makes an impact in so many lives!
@picardonhealth @USherbrooke @uMcGill @cusm_muhc Congratulations André. I am sure Dr. Lalonde-Picard will be as smart and kind-hearted as her father.
@picardonhealth @USherbrooke @uMcGill @cusm_muhc Congratulations to your daughter.
@picardonhealth @USherbrooke @uMcGill @cusm_muhc Congratulations!
@picardonhealth @USherbrooke @uMcGill @cusm_muhc Proud dad! Can't imagine who inspired her to pursue a medical career and do the many hours of work that was needed to succeed... Congratulations to your daughter and your entire family, because very few students can do this without emotional support.
@picardonhealth @USherbrooke @uMcGill @cusm_muhc So happy that you are now a @mcgillu dad! Congrats to Anais!
@picardonhealth @USherbrooke @uMcGill @cusm_muhc We would love to have her in Alberta when she finishes, but despite the challenging conditions for physicians in Quebec, I fear the climate in health care in Alberta may not be conducive to importation (though maybe in 3 years…). Medicine can still be a great career. Congrats
@picardonhealth @USherbrooke @uMcGill @cusm_muhc That's wonderful. Good to have someone close to you on the inside of the health system. Who knows, many years from now the column could be "The Picards on Health" bringing together clinical and policy insights to health reporting!
@picardonhealth @USherbrooke @uMcGill @cusm_muhc Congratulations to your daughter
